Chef Rickz's career began as a stand-up comic (he actually started cooking classes before junior high school and continued in his cooking education to this day). Recently, he worked as a guest chef at Colonna's Pizza & Ristorante in San Antonio, Texas. He learned the art of Italian cooking with legendary pizza Chef Stephen Colonna. After college, he moved to Hollywood, CA and began his career as a stand-up comic while working part-time during the day in the food gadget business.
He worked at such clubs as the Improv, Comedy Store, and other clubs in the Los Angeles Areas.
Chef Rickz has been working fairs and shows for 30 years. From 2003-2006, he was seen regularly as the Gadget-Vaudeville Chef on QVC, one of the largest television networks in the world today. He was visible in over 80 million homes throughout the USA and has traveled to London, England 5 times for kitchen shows on QVC-UK.
Chef Rickz's Philosophy Is Simple:
To provide entertainment to sell quality kitchen products. Just like in the old west where the hawker sold medicine from the back of wagon trains, Chef Rickz revives the old traditions of showmanship. His type of pitching, selling, and entertainment is a dying art, by a dying breed. It's also referred to as the world's second-oldest profession! So step right up and enjoy the show!
